If you read album credits and have listened to “Compton” by Dr. Dre, you are probably familiar with the name Anderson .Paak. He was featured in several of the album’s standout songs, and thankfully, Anderson didn’t make his new fans wait to long for a project of his own.

“Malibu” is Anderson’s third album, but it is the first solo introduction of the rapper/singer to many. The project dropped in January and doesn’t quite fit any one genre, so anyone who simply appreciates good music should hear Anderson’s work.
