After 17 years as the Atlanta Hawks Announcer, Ryan Cameron is being replaced by his former WVEE (V-103)/Atlanta colleague Big Tigger. The NBA team was pleased with Ryan’s contributions to the games at State Farm Arena, but moving forward, Tigger gets this great gig. And it’s not personal, just business.
Audacy is the parent company of both V-103 and WZDC (92.9/The Game), and the latter broadcasts Hawks games. Since Ryan Cameron works for V-103 competitor Majic 107.5/97.5, Audacy prefers to have Talent within the family handling announcer duties for the Atlanta Hawks.
Big Tigger is a familiar presence in the market as the Host of Mornings on V-103, and DJ at the Hawks games.
