Carson Daly has hosted mornings on KAMP (97.1 AMP Radio)/Los Angeles for since January of 2010, but his radio run has come to an end. Since joining AMP, Carson has picked up a hosting gig on the very successful competition show “The Voice,” and a “Today Show” co-hosting position across the country in New York City. Plus, he hosts NBC’s long-running late night music program “Last Call With Carson Daly.”

While anyone could understand Carson giving up one of his four demanding and high-profile jobs, his family is why he’s leaving radio.

Carson’s “Today Show” colleagues shared the bittersweet news with fans, and also said goodbye on his morning show.

Even though his run as morning show host on 97.1 AMP Radio is over, Carson Daly will still work with AMP and its parent company as the host of the nationally syndicated weekend countdown show “DALY Download.”

Good luck and best wishes to Carson and his family!
