Chris Brown has had legal entanglements for several years, but his recent arrest for suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon is very different. While some of his friends may have expressed their support to him directly during his hard times, this is the first time so many celebrities have publicly spoken out in his defense.

Baylee Curran, the woman who made the accusation that Chris Brown held a gun to her head, is being questioned in the court of public opinion. In the comments section of the Instagram post above, several Chris Brown supporters believe her accusation is an attempt to gain fame. Also, there’s speculation that Baylee has a friendship with the mother of Chris Brown’s daughter Royalty, so were they trying to create an opportunity for Nia Guzman to obtain sole custody. And is there any truth to the reports that Baylee has a shady past?

She was questioned about her allegation of being asked to sign a non-disclosure agreement, but the hosts didn’t go in.
