Syndicated talk radio psychologist Dr. Joy Browne passed away at the age of 71 on Saturday, August 27th. The cause of her death is unknown, and she will be remembered as the psychologist with the longest run on radio.

TALKERS publisher Michael Harrison states "I am personally devastated, Joy was one of the greatest talents in the history of radio, a humanitarian and wonderful human being. All of us in radio and her vast listening audience have suffered a terrible loss.” At the time of her death, Browne’s long-running talk show had been syndicated to stations across the country by Genesis Communications Network.
