Responsibilities:
❏ Creating original content and performing live broadcasts that are entertaining and informative.
❏ Participating and creating original content for all social media platforms; managing online personality presence.
❏ Protecting the station’s FCC license.
❏ Stay current with ever-changing news cycles and relate stories in an entertaining and compelling way/
❏ Ensuring that promotions and contests are executed properly.
❏ Ability to operate the control board and perform audio production.
❏ Comfortability representing 92.9 publicly at station events, community events etc.
❏ Other duties as required by management.
Qualifications:
❏ Creativity and initiative a must.
❏ Must be an excellent communicator who knows how to attract, entertain and inform listeners.
❏ Productions skills and a strong working knowledge of studio audio equipment necessary for on-air and production and execution a plus.
❏ Excellent on-air voice with demonstrated track record required.
❏ Ability to work in a team environment focused on delivering the best show possible each day.
❏ A valid driver’s license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check, and, if the position requires use of applicant’s own vehicle, proof of insurance, is required.
