Young Dolph is an artist who’s received the most attention from radio with songs that include his name after “featured.” Will 2016 be the year he gets shine of his own?
As the guest artist on “California” by Colonel Loud and O.T. Genasis‘ “Cut It,” Young Dolph has added a top 10 hit and a heater approaching the Urban top 30, respectively. His own songs “Get Paid” and “Preach” were given some airplay, but didn’t come close to the charts. Despite the lack of support for his music on radio, Young Dolph gets booked for shows of his own and even sold out many dates of his 2015 tour.
Memphis is the city Young Dolph calls home, and we’re patiently waiting for the song that’s going to bring him success as a solo artist. He hasn’t released album yet, but be on the lookout for another mixtape this year.
