Audacy’s KyXy 96.5/San Diego is looking for a morning show with on air, social media and community leadership skills.
Responsibilities:
❏ Create original content and perform live broadcasts that are entertaining and informative and locally relevant
❏ Participate and create original content for all social media platforms; managing online personality presence
❏ Protect the station’s FCC license
❏ Monitor the music and commercial logs for the airshift
❏ Assist the Brand Manager with music logs
❏ Ensure that promotions and contests are executed properly
❏ Operate the control board and perform production work
❏ Make personal appearances at station events and remote broadcasts
❏ Align daily content to our brand goals
❏ Understand the target audience, their lifestyles, and are able to form a connection with the audience
❏ Possesses strong commitment to show preparation
❏ Grow and evolve skill set under direction of Brand Manager
❏ Production/voiceover assignments as needed
❏ Assist with gathering, editing audio/video for show and station
❏ Be engaging brand ambassador at station appearances and in all listener/client interactions
❏ Be an effective endorser for station clients with a proven track record
❏ Other duties as required by management
Qualifications:
❏ Skill set in audio editing, running audio boards, phone/skills, show prep skills & development of engaging content
❏ Open to coaching and able to work synergistically within a team environment
❏ Demonstrated ability of effective use of social media to help drive brand engagement
❏ Ability to generate creative concepts
❏ Commitment to community
❏ Willingness to engage with clients and listeners
