Our Opportunity:
Cumulus Media Dallas is seeking an experienced News Reporter for the combined WBAP/KLIF News Departments.
Candidates for this position must have at least three years medium to large market experience in radio news.
Individual will be called upon to cover stories in the field during morning drive for both WBAP and KLIF.
Individual will perform various news duties as needed, with the potential of working odd hours as news stories break.
Familiarity with digital audio editing software required. Experience with long-form, breaking, non-scripted, long-form news coverage is vital.
Familiarity with website posting and social media platforms required.
Individual will be called upon to anchor newscasts as needed.
Qualifications:
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is highly desirable
Ability to multi-task
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good at problem solving and prioritizing
