Qui West can be heard weekday afternoons on KGGI (99.1) in Riverside, an adjacent market to Los Angeles. But if you listen to him, you’ll immediately hear qualities that could bring him back to a top 10 market.

Before joining KGGI, Qui West worked weekends in San Francisco on KYLD (WiLD 94.9), and also had a #1 run doing nights on KBXX (97.9 The Box)/Houston. So he’s definitely experienced in major market radio.

In addition to a great resume, Qui West is fun to listen to because he vibes really well with listeners, doesn’t sound too regional and brings great energy without being overenthusiastic. Also, his digital presence and activity are show that he’s comfortable connecting with listeners on other platforms.

Commuters driving to and from Los Angeles can hear Qui, but I wouldn’t be surprised to hear him doing afternoons in a top 10 market sooner than later. Listen to one of Qui West’s airchecks right here.
