Wendy Williams earned a reputation for no holds barred interviews during her 20+ year career as a radio personality. Now that she’s the queen of daytime television, Wendy still gossips, but is so much more tame than she used to be.

In this 2002 interview from WBLS/New York‘s “The Wendy Williams Experience,” Judge Mathis visited and gave Wendy a very bitter taste of her own medicine.

After asking about a woman he was alleged to have had an affair with, Judge Mathis clapped back at Wendy by accusing her of getting high before the interview and much more.

Yes, this interview is extremely messy and uncomfortable to listen. But take it as a not so gentle reminder, that if you are willing to ask the “gotcha” question, you must be prepared if your subject comes back at you.
