Mijo

After working as the interim Program Director for WPOW (Power 96)/Miami for three months, Night Show Talent Mijo Irizarry has officially been named Program Director for the station. He fills the void created when Will Calder departed to Orlando to become the Program Director of WPYO (Power 95.3).

Mijo will still be heard on the air, but will move from nights to the midday shift. About Mijo’s big promotion, Entercom/Miami Senior Vice-President & Market Manager Keriann Worley stated:

“Mijo has accepted the PD position at Power 96. His passion for the radio industry for the Power 96 brand is unmatched. Mijo is the perfect fit for this position and will do remarkable things. Expect BIG things from him and his team. Congrats Mijo! Let’s go!”

Press play to see Mijo’s 2017 interview with Ed Sheeran.
