Van Lathan

Van Lathan became a familiar face after years of national exposure on TMZ. But his run came to an end last month for confronting a co-worker after a heated on-air exchange. The abrupt end to his run on TMZ didn’t seem to bother Van. As his exit gained attention from media outlets, Van Lathan told his Instagram followers, “I’m okay. Promise you guys. Seriously.”

Turns out Van was right to say he would be okay. He’s back on the air on the new Fox newsmagazine show “Central Ave” as the “Van on the street,” (official title: Special Correspondent). It’s currently testing in eight markets including New York and Atlanta.

Best wishes to the “Central Ave” team for a successful run that leads to a full season pick up.
