In October of 2017, nationally-syndicated Talent Delilah experienced unimaginable grief when her 18-year-old son Zack committed suicide. She took time away from her very successful show, and after not initially being able to write or talk about it, Delilah began sharing her thoughts about the family tragedy in her new book “One Heart At A Time.”

“Delilah” listener and “Good Morning America” host Robin Roberts interviewed Delilah about this painful period in the radio star’s life.

“It’s so funny because nights are the worst. You know, I finish the show. And that’s when it hits. Because that was our time together. My son was a night owl.”

Delilah also tells Robin about the support she’s received from some of the 8 million listeners that tune in weekly.

“So many listeners sent the most beautiful thoughts and prayers [and] shared their own stories of loss … and grief, and what helped them get through.”
