Devi Dev
After holding down nights for a year and a half on Urban KQBT (93.7 The Beat)/Houston, Devi Dev has been promoted to Music Director/Midday Talent. This isn’t her first position in the programming department–she worked her way up to APD/MD at KDAY/Los Angeles, the first station she worked at. Here’s D

Here’s what Program Director Bo Money had to say about the move:

“I’m extremely excited to play a bigger role on The Beat. This is a chance to get even closer to our audience, and create amazing things along the way. iHeartMedia is an extremely innovative and forward-thinking company; to be able to grow my career with them is a huge opportunity.

DJ Mr. Rogers will be filling the opening created by Devi Dev’s move to middays, but a permanent replacement for Devi Dev at nights has not yet been named.

“It’s obvious that Devi has so much to offer the station with the energy she gives us both on and off the air. I love that she comes with incredible contacts and such a keen knowledge of the community to better serve the Houston market. We’re excited for our listeners and our partners.”

Congratulations to Devi!
