In an Instagram post showcasing his beautiful daughter, Cubby opened up about an issue Naomi has. Here’s part of what he wrote:

It has been an exhausting but wonderful experience at St.Peter’s since we checked into L&D on Sunday @ 7:15AM. Since then our birthing journey has taken us to postpartum recovery for Koko and a completely unplanned NICU stopover for baby Naomi. She was born with a cleft palate, which is serious, although you can’t see it, the roof of her mouth is part missing so it affects her feeding/swallowing. We are grateful that they caught it immediately, blessed that it is treatable and lucky there’s an entire specialist team on-site. We have been surrounded by an overwhelming abundance of love and support from family, friends and even strangers, like the nurses and doctors we meet.

Best wishes to Naomi, Koko and Cubby.

This is long but lots to tell. Today we are being discharged. I am humbled by nurses that work tirelessly in 12 hour shifts. (Our delivery OB works 24 hour shifts, delivering baby after baby). This is a new world for us and has brought us a new meaning to life and family and how precious everything, every moment, is. Words can’t describe how emotional it has been just to have our girl finally arrive and we are reassured our baby girl will be fine. We are slightly sad to leave Naomi in NICU as they make sure she is eating the right amount, in the right time, but she is in the best hands possible 🤲🏼👶🏻 She is perfect in every way imaginable and we are so excited to bring her home shortly. I am doing my best to attend to Koko, Naomi and keep up with updating everyone! Thanks for the continued love and support and reading till the end!
