Darlene McCoy had a hurtful encounter with an employee of Atlanta restaurant Woody’s, and she went to social media to detail her experience of being addressed with a racial slur at the establishment. The post generated thousands of comments, and last week she spoke at a press conference to highlight the unacceptable treatment she received.

During the presser, Darlene McCoy revealed that she will be launching The RIGHT One–a new social media platform to bring attention to businesses that discriminate, and highlight businesses that get it right by treating customers respectfully.
