Gary With Da Tea is heard on “The Rickey Smiley Morning Show” and seen on “Dish Nation” delivering messy reports and commentary about celebrities daily, and makes people laugh without seeming to try. No celebrity is safe from his gossip, and instead of fans getting mad at Gary for what he says about their favorite celebrities, he seems to get a pass because he’s funny and likable.
Because of his playful persona listeners and viewers don’t get to experience Gary’s serious side, and made his announcement about being diagnosed with cancer even more jolting. But they were happy to hear about him being in remission.
