The news about J Cruz leaving mornings at KPWR (Power 106)/Los Angeles to bring “The Cruz Show” to afternoons on market rival KRRL (Real 92.3) spread far on Monday, April 15th. But there was no information provided about the fate of Nina Chantele, the woman who was previously heard on Real weekdays from 3-7 pm.

Even though she’s no on the air in Los Angeles, Nina Chantele is still employed by iHeart Media. She’s hosted middays on San Diego’s KSSX (Jam’n 95.7) since 2017 and continues to work on Real’s sister station.

No word on if/when Nina Chantele will pick up another station, but we’re happy to hear she’s still a part of the iHeart family.
