According to sources, Stephen A. will make about $40 million from his new deal. “Get Up” host Mike Greenberg makes $6.5 million annually, and Stephen A. Smith’s $8 million per year comfortably surpasses his colleague.

While Stephen A. Smith is going to be making more money, he will be giving up his radio show next year. No word on what program will replace the nationally syndicated “Stephen A. Smith Show.”

ESPN has given Stephen A. Smith his own branded “SportsCenter” which airs Wednesdays before the NBA game of the night. And the network reportedly added more money to Stephen A.’s current contract.
