Despite having two years left on her contract, Meghan McCain made the unexpected announcement that she would be leaving “The View” at the end of July. Clashes with co-hosts was not the reason. Instead, Meghan is opting to stay in Washington, DC with her husband and baby daughter, instead of splitting time between the nation’s capitol and New York City.

No news on who will fill the seat currently filled by Meghan McCain, but here are some ideas of Talent who may be a good fit on the panel.
-
Dana Loesch: The nationally syndicated radio Talent has a full plate hosting “The Dana Show,” but she would bring a strong conservative voice to “The View.”
- S.E. Cupp: Reports have circulated that the moderate Republican and CNN commentator was under serious consideration to be hired before Sara Haynes returned, and seems like she would get along with the ladies even when they disagree politically.
- Tomi Lahren: The 28-year-old Fox Nation Talent doesn’t back down from confrontation and would bring a younger perspective to the show.
- Anna Navarro: Currently seen on “The View” on Fridays and for fill-ins, the transition to full-time co-host would probably be smooth.
- Rachel Campos-Duffy: After being under consideration to be the conservative voice of the show on several occasions, perhaps this is the right time for the former “Real World: San Francisco” cast member to move from being a stay at home mother of 9 to the next co-host of “The View.”
