D.L. Hughley has brought his intellectual humor to stage, sitcoms, films and television, and TV One has given him a talk show deal. With Urban One as the parent company of TV One and Reach Media, the company that syndicates “The D.L. Hughley Show” for radio, the natural synergy makes sense because this new TV show will incorporate content directly from D.L.’s afternoon radio program. In addition, “The D.L. Hughley Show” will feature his current radio co-host Jasmine Sanders.

Ten years ago D.L. Hughley hosted “Hughley Breaks the News” on CNN, and it remained on the air from 2008 to 2009. Daily topics of the day will be covered in Hughley’s new show, but that seems to be the only thing his past show has in common with his latest venture.
The television version of “The D.L. Hughley Show” premieres on TV One on March 18th, and will air weekdays.
