Britt Waters is an on-air Talent that can be heard weekends on WKYS in Washington, DC, and has been heard nationally on “The Russ Parr Morning Show” since 2013.
Getting exposure on a syndicated show so early in her career was a great look, but this month she will part ways with the program and work with Lil’ Mo and DJ Quicksilva on the new KYS morning show “The Fam.” As the Associate Producer of “The Russ Parr Morning Show,” Britt was included in most breaks, and definitely a part of the show, but what role will she play on “The Fam”?
Since “The Fam” will replace “The Russ Parr Morning Show” on KYS, it’s smart to keep a familiar voice in the daypart. But it would be understandable if she doesn’t have a huge on-air presence since Lil’ Mo and Quicksilva have developed their on-air chemistry hosting afternoons on sister station WERQ (92Q)/Baltimore.
No matter what role Britt plays on “The Fam,” she’s likely to have a great future ahead of her. In addition to working as a producer, she’s able to work as a part of an ensemble, and she’s developing her solo voice by doing her own show.
While on “The Russ Parr Morning Show,” she created her own lane with “The Ratchet Reality Review” and has become better at interviews and working the red carpet. Plus, she’s really engaged on social media.
Good luck to Britt on her new adventure with “The Fam,” and we can’t wait to see this developing star get the opportunity to shine on her own.
