After spending his entire radio career at Urban Mainstream WEDR (99 Jamz)/Miami, Derrick Baker is expanding his programming purview to Urban AC, and has the opportunity to manage more than one station.
He is the new Program Director of Urban Mainstream WQOK (K97.5) and Urban AC WFXK (Foxy 107.1 & 104.3)/Raleigh, and replaces Nate Bell who transferred to Radio One/Detroit as Operations Manager.
Baker led 99 Jamz’s programming as it shifted from diary to PPM ratings measurement, and the hip-hop outlet consistently finished 18-34 winner and top biller for Cox.

Derrick’s official start date at Radio One/Raleigh has not been announced, but he will assume his new duties this month.
