Debmar-Mercury made it clear that “The Wendy Williams Show” is moving on without its namesake, but the news generated even more questions. This week the producer-distributor confirmed rumors that Sherri Shepherd would inherit the popular talk show and its affiliates and time slots this fall. Until then, guest hosts will continue to rotate.

While it’s good for viewers to know the fate of “The Wendy Williams Show,” there’s still uncertainty. We have questions as unconfirmed reports continue to swirl. And while rumors are easy to dismiss and ignore, many related to Wendy Williams have turned out to be true.
