There was an unspoken, but widespread belief that self-proclaimed reality stars aren’t to really be taken seriously. However, Cardi B has totally changed that mentality, and so is Tammy Rivera with her latest song “Only One.”

Artists like Remy Ma who established credible careers before joining the cast of “Love & Hip Hop” clearly don’t sit under the same cloud of stigma as artists who were known for appearing on reality television instead of their musical talents. And as the wife of Waka Flocka Flame, Tammy Rivera has an even harder time being seen as a serious artist.

“Only One” is a mid-tempo you-won’t-play-me song that just feels good to listen to, AND makes you want to hear more from Tammy.

While every music-making cast member of “Love & Hip Hop” would love to parallel the triple platinum success of Cardi B’s “Bodak Yellow,” credibility is actually what they should strive for. Congratulations to Tammy for creating another legit with “Only You,” and hear it for yourself in the player up top.
