KBKS (106.1 KISS FM)/Seattle has a new morning show coming this month. The exact launch date for “The Jubal Show” has not been announced, as Jubal Fresh is in the process of hiring Talent and an Executive Producer to work with him weekdays from 5-10 am.

While a start date is still unknown, the station is aggressively promoting Jubal’s return to his first radio home by rebranding the station as “Jubal 106.1.” Instead of relegating promotion for “The Jubal Show” to liners and promos, the host’s moniker is ubiquitous on the station now formerly known as KISS–a brilliant way to promote the return of a popular Talent in Seattle.

“We are just trying to give the people what they want,” said iHeartMedia Executive Vice President of Programming Maynard said this about his new hire. “And they want JUBAL!”
About his return, Jubal stated:
“I’m going back to KISS because when I left 10-years ago, I didn’t get the chance to clean out my desk, and I just want my favorite pen back. Oh, and also the amazing opportunity to work for, and with, the best in the business at iHeartMedia. I’m constantly trying to evolve and grow and find new innovative ways to entertain my audiences and iHeart is always on the cutting edge. This new chapter is going to be bananas. Plus, I get my pen back!”

According to an Instagram post, Jubal Fresh has made at least one hire. He didn’t disclose who got the job, or which position is filled. But one hire that is known is Alex Fresh. In addition to being Jubal’s wife, Alex is the co-host of his podcast and much more. Take a look at this heartfelt post from Jubal’s Instagram account about his wife.
“In most of these meetings Alex is probably the smartest person on the call”. That’s a quote from a conversation the other day about how impressed people are with @thatdreas. They aren’t telling me anything I didn’t know, but I’m so glad they are seeing what I’ve been telling them all along. I’ll be honest, when I told everyone that this next show I build will be nothing but driven, motivated, killers and that starts with hiring my wife they scoffed. I get it. Husbands and wives running businesses together is nothing unusual, but in this industry it scares companies a lot to hire a couple. I get that too. There are a lot of instances of things falling apart. Either way the powers-that-be listened to me when I told them how talented, smart and business-minded she is and all it took was a few days of seeing how she works to realize that I was right. I’m so proud of this woman right here. She always goes out of her comfort zone, takes risks and new challenges head on and handles them like a boss. This whole industry is new to her, it’s a very male-dominated industry and to not only be new, but the only woman in most of these calls and meetings and to run it like she does is so F#cking impressive. Building this next chapter in my career has been so awesome because I get to do it by her side. Things like this can work when there isn’t a power difference. We both know our strong suits and use them to compliment each other. We make a great team. There’s nothing sexier than a strong ass woman and I’m thankful every day that the strongest woman I’ve ever known is my wife. I love you @thatdreas. Thank you for taking a risk to build this thing with me. The Jubal Show will debut on 106.1 in Seattle very soon. We’ll update you with the official launch date as it gets closer.
