With the 2020 elections less than two months away, political content is driving tremendous engagement on social media. And some of the Syndicated Talent who openly expressed their political views on Instagram in August outperformed their counterparts when it came to Interactions (Likes & Comments), Followers and Percentage of Growth.

A repurposed tweet was the most engaging post for Buck Sexton in August. He gave his overall reaction to the Republican National Convention in the tweet-turned-Instagram post, and his followers showed their agreement for his messaging with almost 4,000 Likes and over 100 comments.

Last month, D.L. Hughley had an encounter in an airport with a Trump supporter, who is also a political candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives. Apparently their exchange got heated, and Angela Stanton King posted about it. D.L. responded and told his side of what happened on Instagram, and it turned out to be his most popular post in August.
Even though Bill O’Reilly has an abundance of political content on his Instagram feed, a simple photo of Bill with his dog generated the most enthusiastic response from his followers.
